I am currently a PhD candidate in Information Systems at NYU Stern School of Business , advised by Prof. Anindya Ghose. Off the market, I'm excited and looking forward to join the department of MIS at Terry College of Business, University of Georgia this fall. Previously I earned my master's degree in Business Analytics at the University of Maryland with a research focus on network embeddings. Prior to that, I completed my undergrad at Nanjing University in China, where I studied Management and Economics. You could find my CV and Research Statement here.
My research seeks to understand human economic behaviors in environments with emerging technologies and following policy implications, especially relevant to the creator economy and digital labor.
Specifically, my work has three main components:
The psychological dynamics of live streamer mental state transitions. (understanding the content production process)
How generative AI impacts freelancers' job and contractual preferences, as well as bidding behavioral changes. (digital labor and the new future of work)
How non-monetary engagement design interacts with monetary outcomes. (platform reward and pricing designs)
The evolvement of online communities in embodied AI live channels. (technology adoption and perception)
Methodologically I employ both structural and reduced-form econometrics models. I also develop technical frameworks that adapt and integrate deep learning tools for social and economic empirical studies.
